The work

Anand Bogh is one of the largest distributors of frozen Indian sweets into the US and Canada. Nineteen products, nineteen packs, designed in 2025.

What export packaging has to survive

A pack going into a North American freezer aisle carries a different load from one going onto an Indian shelf. It has to read to a diaspora shopper who knows exactly what the sweet should look like, and to a shopper who has never seen it before, and it has to satisfy a labelling regime that is not the one it was made under. Thirty SKUs of export packaging for Nandini taught me that; this was the same problem in a freezer.
